About Kidology
Helping Children Thrive Through Play

Experience & Qualifications
With over 24 years in child development, social work, and therapeutic care, I’m a qualified Social Worker, Play Therapist, and Family Therapist. I hold a BA in Applied Social Science, Diplomas in Social Work and Family Therapy, and a Certificate in Play Therapy. I’m also a proud member of the Australian Association of Family Therapy (AAFT).
Therapy Approach
At Kidology Therapy, I offer a safe, play-based environment where children can explore their emotions at their own pace. My approach blends clinical expertise, trauma-informed care, and lived experience as a mother. I support both children and families through play therapy, family therapy, and practical parenting guidance.
Philosophy & Impact
Born in Edinburgh, I bring empathy, cultural awareness, and a deep connection to the families I work with. I believe in neuro-affirming, ethical care that builds resilience, fosters strong bonds, and helps children thrive—both in and beyond the therapy room.
